खुशखबर…! मॉन्सूनने केरळमधील मुक्काम हलवला;

2 दिवसांपासून केरळमध्ये मॉन्सूनचा मुक्काम होता, तो आता पुढे सरकला आहे. रविवारी (दि.2) मॉन्सूनने तमिळनाडू, कर्नाटकचा काही भाग, आंध्र प्रदेशचा काही भाग आणि पूर्वकडील राज्यांमध्ये शिरकाव केला आहे. येत्या दोन-तीन दिवसांमध्ये मॉन्सून महाराष्ट्रात दाखल होण्यासाठी पोषक वातावरण तयार झाले आहे.

यंदा वेळेआधीच मॉन्सून देशात दाखल झाला आहे. केरळमध्ये दोन दिवसांपूर्वी दाखल झालेला मॉन्सून पुढे सरकला नव्हता. दोन दिवसानंतर रविवारी मॉन्सूनने मोठी वाटचाल केली आहे. बराच भाग त्याने व्यापला असून, पुढील प्रवासही वेगाने होईल, असा अंदाज व्यक्त करण्यात आला आहे.

नैऋत्य मौसमी पाऊस बंगालच्या उपसागाराच्या काही भागात दाखल झाला आहे. पुढील दोन दिवसांत मध्य अरबी समुद्राच्या, बंगालच्या प. मध्य व वायव्य भागात दाखल होईल. महाराष्ट्र राज्यात पुढील 5 दिवस तुरळक ठिकाणी पावसाची शक्यता आहे. कोकणात सिंधुदुर्ग वगळता उर्वरित जिल्ह्यात वातावरण उष्ण व दमट राहील. रत्नागिरीत 3 जूनपर्यंत वादळी वाऱ्यासह पावसाचा अंदाज आहे. कोकणात यलो अलर्ट दिला आहे.

मध्य महाराष्ट्र, मराठवाडा व विदर्भात बऱ्याच जिल्ह्यांत वादळी वाऱ्यासह पावसाचा अंदाज असून, यलो अलर्ट दिला आहे. पुणे व परिसरात दुपारी आकाश निरभ्र तर सायंकाळी आकाश ढगाळ राहील.

Now, the burning question on the minds of many, especially residents in Bengaluru and across Karnataka is: When will the monsoon finally arrive to alleviate the severe water shortages plaguing the region?

According to the latest bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), monsoon rains are forecasted to enter Karnataka within the next two to three days. Typically, the monsoon reaches the Karnataka coast by June 5 and gradually spreads over the south-interior areas, including Bengaluru, by June 14. However, the early onset over the Indian mainland suggests that Karnataka might also see an earlier onset of the season.
